Viaresu is what you might call the strong and silent type. He usually speaks
very little, only voicing opinions when needed, but observes carefully and
formulates his own ideas. He trusts his own judgment and doesn't seem to care much what others think of him, whether it be good or bad. Viaresu has quite a few friends and is pretty much easy to get along with: fairly easygoing
when it comes to most things, but with a definite backbone.
As Thats stated in DK 5, youkai are either "in Nadil's army or hiding from Nadil's army", but Viaresu
has always been teetering between the two. He is acutely independent and more
than a little perverse, so he resents not having his own independence and hates
taking orders. Viaresu is not a fool; he understood that open rebellion was too
dangerous and therefore carefully disguised his feelings while he worked under
Nadil. It wasn't particularly surprising that he left Nadil's army at the first
chance. :O
Viaresu is fiercely loyal to his good friends and loved ones, and
allows himself to loosen up around them. His demeanor when dealing with Cesia
and Gil, for example, is a far cry from the aloof manner he presents to
strangers (i.e. the rest of the big group after he's resurrected). You might say
he's a bit of a loner, preferring to avoid huge groups.
You might say Viaresu has a slight temper problem. ^^;; That's one of the reasons he fits in with the rest of the "adolescent" cast in DK. While he usually wears a carefully emotionless mask, several things can get him worked up.
These delicate subjects are Cesia, Rath, and Fedelta and he can get quite touchy.
The calm, cool Viaresu and the PO'ed Viaresu are almost complete opposites.
To sum up: Viaresu is hot-tempered but clear-headed, rebelliously independent
but loyal and deeply caring, a good friend but a lone wolf. @_x He is SO
perverse...he even contradicts himself. xD;
